Our engineers will be performing a scheduled maintenance on one of our datacenter systems.
This work is expected to impact the following services. With a downtime of approximately 120 minutes during the maintenance window.
The affected datacenter is linked to the Data Platform for the device activation process, GoLive, Tariff Change, Contract Renewal and the hosting contract overview.
During the update, the device activation functions (Go Live, Tariff Change, Renewals, Cancellation) on DataPortal and REST API will not be possible. Also the hosting contract overview on Data Portal and REST API may not show all details.
Furthermore, AEMP and mixed fleet importers will be stopped during the downtime and resume work afterwards.

This maintenance announces a remarkable behavior change for DataPlatform. Find the details below:
The tariffs of the hosting contracts for our CANlink mobile communication units usually include a certain amount of RealTime Cases. A RealTime Case is started with a new RealTime Session and includes all consecutive RealTime Sessions within the next 4 hours. Any new session after the 4 hour window will start a new RealTime Case.
In the past, these limits have not been enforced by the Proemion DataPlatform. This will be changed soon. Starting from May 2025, any new session that would exceed the RealTime Case limit will be blocked by the DataPlatform. Depending on the RealTime Client software (e.g. Remote Service Tool, PLUS+1 Service Tool) the user will be shown an error message that indicates the session limit being exceeded. We are making this change to ensure the efficient and equitable use of resources across all customers.
You can find the details of the hosting contracts and the active tariffs for the machines and communication units on the Contract Overview on DataPortal. Select the right communication unit or machine and open the Contract Details.
The Contract Details view shows the number of RealTime cases of the current month and the contract's limit.
In order to ensure a smooth transition, Proemion has checked for possible limit violations in the past and will contact customers who show a continuous overuse to adjust their hosting contracts so that the enforcement does not block their usual usage.
There are several options available to mitigate the situation and to make RealTime service available in the amount required for your business cases.
A) If some machines of your fleet are affected: Change the tariff for the affected machines to a tariff including the required amount of RealTime cases.
B) If nearly all machines of your fleet are affected: Change the tariff for all machines of the fleet to a tariff including the required amount of RealTime cases. In case a matching tariff does not exist for your organization, your account manager can assist you in designing a tariff tailored to your business needs.
Please check if your machines would be affected and get in contact with your account manager as soon as possible to ensure the changes get effective before May 2025 in order to not block your machines for RealTime diagnostics due to the case limits.
